Catching the overnight ferry to St Malo we head south with a mixture of motorways and national routes, today is purely to eat miles as we need to travel 375 of them. This puts us at
the medievalvillage of Rocamadour, from here on the days are alot shorter and the roads are alot better as we travel back roads through medievaltowns, gorges and Mountain peaks on this amazing adventure.
This route takes us first to the east side of the Pyrenees, an area filled with Castles and vineyards as we follow visiting Carcassone the amazing medievalcastle used in many films, including Robin hood Prince of Thieves
from here we follow part or the Cathar trail through gorges and following the amazing Pyrenees mountain line crossing amazing Col's to the famous village of St Jean Pied de Pont on the west side.
It will now be time to start heading north, back to St Malo, using again mainly just back winding roads.
We spend the final night in St Malo taking a walk around the walled city maybe eating in one of the amazing restaurants.
